In 2000, he passed it on to his son—who inherited his taste and passion—who immediately decided to give it a second life: a complete restoration, followed by a place of honor at the heart of his private Porsche collection in California.
The restoration was carried out to the highest standards: body paint applied with a spray gun as on a luxury car, mirror-polished chrome, new exhaust, and fully functional lighting. The engine was removed to ensure indoor use without any odor issues.
